Oh wow! this is such a beautiful, archetypal French piece! Highly unusual, this piece really is quite superb, with lovely detailing.
This stunning French piece comprises of two parts, the base and the glazed top which sits on top of it. The glazed section has three internal shelves and a beautifully carved crest as well as gorgeous brass escutcheons and pretty key. The base has two drawers, each with pretty carving detail surrounding the face of the drawer. Each drawer also has a lovely brass drop handle.
This piece has been painted in the gorgeous Autentico colour 'Bleu Gris', a sumptuous, neutral blue grey shade which seems to work well with most colour schemes. The inside of the cabinet has been given a 'wash' of 'Old White' adding a fabulous contrast to the 'Bleu Gris'.

Wow! This vintage walnut sideboard is a stunning piece of furniture, lovely quality and well made this would make a stunning statement addition to any living room.
The sideboard has some lovely detail with carving running along the perimeter of the top and scrolls of carving on the central back plinth of the top and underneath the drawer section at the bottom of the piece. There is also some lovely carved detail on each of the pretty legs.
The sideboard has two large cupboard on each side, with three drawers in the centre. The top drawer has a felt lined cutlery drawer which slides back and forth.
Hand painted in the gorgeous Autentico 'Bleu Gris' before being waxed and distressed this really is a super sideboard!
